Samwell

The craven scholar. I so wish that Sam’s intellectual contributions will play a major role in saving the world.

I did a Sam only re-read before. I was investigating the possibility that he’s Lightbringer. I wonder if the forging of Lightbringer is actually a description of Samwell overcoming his cowardice. He has been “plunged into water” in Braavos, so to speak, immediately after a particularly macho display of aggression towards Dareon.

I can’t not love this character. His cowardice does annoy me sometimes though.
